Large Vintage Oltenian Rug – Handwoven Wool Floral Carpet

Beautiful and authentic large Oltenian rug featuring an abundance of floral motifs and vibrant traditional colors. This striking piece was handwoven from wool on a cotton foundation using a vertical loom, showcasing the craftsmanship and artistry of Romanian textile traditions.
Even if the  rug has been professionally cleaned, it still shows signs of age and use, including some stains and wear marks that could not be fully removed as shown in the pictures. For this reason, it is offered at a reduced price.
